About this assignment :
We approached this task as a way to utilize our study space - an oppurtunity to create compactible, small objects that we could create by using only leftover scraps of metal. The measurements are standardized - we measured the thickness of a table, it's height from the floor, the diameter of a bottle cap and so on. The objects can be fitted as they are - with no sorts of adjustments. We chose metal because of it's qualities - it can hold weight and stand everyday falls. We hope you are as excited as us to use these small elements.

We planned the objects on autocad and then modeled them on Rhino to make sure that they are the correct measurements. The laser cutting process went smoothly, and the objects were bent using the machines in the workshop.
